Darn right! You betcha! Uh... Alaska produces energy!

Did Palin's paper repeat "Smile at Biden and the camera" every other line or something? It was a bit creepy. Well, it was pretty obvious she was following a memorized script that hoped to follow everything Biden would bring up. Biden talked like a politician, and Palin used short "cute" answers on what she didn't have information on and read off of her paper for everything else. Palin really seems to like McCain's "maverick-ness", and Biden seems to really hate McCain, but only out of jealousy for how close McCain can get to Palin. *wink* *wink*
Despite her lack of experience, Palin still did amazingly well. Even Hilary Clinton admitted that Palin did remarkably. Everybody had really low expectations of her abilities, so with this, Palin won the people. Despite that, Biden is still the winner of the debate, actually addressing the questions and not winking at the camera and trying to be cute (which he could have pulled off really nicely). However, Palin was certainly the winner with "moderator" Gwen Ifill, who let Palin talk first on everything in her power, way over time, and interrupted Biden when she got bored with what he was saying. You have to commend Biden's cool disposition despite the clearly ridiculous factors against him. He definitely has a better poker face than McCain. Also, you have to praise him for doing his best not to directly attack Palin, which is very tempting and easy, and instead take his frustration and anger out on McCain.
In the end, the majority of the population still voted that Joe Biden won the debate. Despite her efforts (similar to a high school AP student cramming for a test), Palin just isn't ready to play in the cold world of Washinton.
